GRADUATE PROGRAM IN SYSTEMS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING

The Master of Science Program in Systems and Control Engineering comprises eight courses corresponding to a minimum of 24 credits, a non-credit graduate seminar and a Master's thesis. This program is open to the graduates of engineering and science majors, who would like to get a graduate degree in the interdisciplinary area of Systems Analysis and Control Theory.

Students enrolled in the program are required to take two courses in each of the specialization fields listed below:

1) Computer Systems
2) Control Systems and Robotics
3) Operations Research

The remaining credits are to be satisfied by taking two elective courses with the approval of the advisor.

Descriptions of relevant courses are to be found in the respective sections of the related departmental programs.

In addition to the courses listed in these programs Special Studies, Special Topics and Seminar courses related with the interdisciplinary field of Systems and Control Engineering as well as courses with similar contents may be substituted, subject to the approval of the advisor, for any course of the respective specialization fields.

The widening of students' perspectives and awareness of topics of interest to system and control engineers through seminars offered by faculty, guest speakers and graduate students.

SCO 580-589 Special Topics (Ozel Konular) (3+0+0) 3
In depth study of a special topic in the area of Systems and Control Engineering.

SCO 591-599 Selected Topics (Secilmis Konular) (3+0+0) 3
Selected topics of current interest in System and Control Engineering.

SCO 681-689 Special Topics (Ozel Konular) (3+0+0) 3
Study of the latest and current developments in the field of Systems and Control Engineering.

SCO 691-698 Selected Topics (Secilmis Konular) (3+0+0) 3
Study of latest developments in the field of System and Control Engineering.
