The School of Applied Disciplines (SAD), founded in 1995, offers programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts in International Trade and in Tourism Administration and to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.

The departments of SAD are designed in response to global integration and the increasing need for systematic information throughout the world and in Turkey.

SAD aims at developing high capacity and initiative for independent thinking and problem solving in its students as well as commitment to self-development and social responsibility. The interdisciplinary programs have an international focus with the aim of educating, future professionals who can function effectively in the dynamic and complex global business environment.

The curricula are designed to give students a firm background in core courses in business administration and economics, in addition to application-oriented specialization courses in the respective fields of study.

A balance is maintained between academic and professional objectives by providing knowledge and skills required by the ever-changing conditions of business and industry. The elective courses offered by the programs give the students the opportunity to further their basic knowledge in the areas of their individual professional interest. Compulsory summer training familiarizes the students with the industry, thereby preparing them for the complexities of the business life.
